Recently when I apply any wb, the nav buttons don't look like they are supposed to.  They look like the default buttons in windows aero (windows 7 default).  Here is an example with beuh:

Notice that the buttons/arrows in the upper left are like the default instead of like the preview for this wb.  Any solution?

Hi Rosco:  That's the qttabbar.  I tried disabling it but that didn't resolve the issue.  Then I uninstalled it.  Still no luck.

Anything else going on that might be hooking into explorer.exe?

I use theme resource changer (TRC) for 3rd party themes which change the start orb, explorerframe.dll, and shell32.dll.  I could try uninstalling that and see if that's the problem.  However, I was using it before this happened and wb didn't give me those problems.  Also, any wb i apply which has a different start orb applies its own start orb and not the default so TRC doesn't seem to affect that.  In addition, TRC doesn't change the actual dll file.  It merely masks or overlays whatever image I have in a folder.  I think that's sort of what wb does.

OK, I uninstalled TRC and then tried applying beuh.  No luck.  Like I said, I don't think TRC was the problem.  Maybe I should uninstall WB and re-install?

Did you reboot after uninstalling TRC?

Yes, I had to reboot to complete it.  It even had me delete a registry key.  To top it off, I ran Ccleaner.

Seems you´ve got these things on your computer to add features or whatever and It would most probably be the cause as to why this is happening....

What has happened and or what has been changed after using them I cannot answer, but if you don´t get windowblinds to skin all properly a complete Un-install and then a clean Re-install of WindowBlinds possibly may do the trick...

Edit: Neil, You didn´t read my latest PM´s...? I still would like to know how it all works...( or doesn´t)

Well, I uninstalled and re-installed but still no luck.  Still getting the default nav buttons.

Did you install the latest version of windowblinds here from Stardock, because that´s a Rather new blind and you´d probably need that one for it to be skinned properly...

Yes, it's the latest version.

I guess I've stumped the tech support people.  Maybe someone from tech support could look at my computer via team viewer and try to resolve this.  I've checked the aero default theme's folder and it seems right.  Is there a way to delete that and reinstall it?  Maybe it's the cause of this problem.
